Lol I remember when I was a noob some lady character bought me a ring and asked to marry me after we added each other and stuff, when she traded me the ring I went running off thinking "LOLOLOLOLOLOL IM SO RICH NOW" and turned my private off, it wasn't even a diamond ring, it was just a gold ring

 

I remember at Varrok West bank before G.E. there was a girl saying "Having sex for money. I also remember having a gf also lol. I had her follow me from lumbride to port sarim so i could buy her a ring haha

I remember back in RSC when people used to get married all the time, it was like a small part of the game culture and I remember going to some awesome drop parties. You don't see it too often at all these days, yet ironically, today I went to a random RS wedding for about half an hour in somebodies POH. With the name changes now, I have also noticed a few players with the exact same names, with "Mr" and "Mrs" in front.

I've actually sort of got an RS girlfriend right now LOL. I met this girl at Daemonheim at the start of summer when I started playing RS again, and was stoooked to find that she was just like me, a high combat level with nice stats but not a fucking clue how to dung (this makes it very hard for me to find good teams at the moment). After dunging with a team of noobs that day we ended up hanging out around RS and doing all sorts of shit. After a few days of PMing each other she started calling me "Babe" and "hun" all the time and I really didn't think anything of it until I went PKing with her friends one day and she introduced me as her "bf".

I very well realize that she could likely be a 40 year old overweight and unemployed dude living in his moms basement, laughing at me for all the cash he has been able to squeeze out of me (although in the grand scheme of things I have probably only given him 5-10M over a course of 3 months. Nothing more than what I give out to my other friends), but frankly I don't really care. The difference is that she is actually one of my best friends on RS and we do all sorts of things together... questing, dunging, PKing, and just hanging out and chatting while we train and whatnot. I don't really consider her my "rs gf" but I guess that is what she is. I get lots of noobs dressed as female characters hitting on me all the time, begging for money, trying to engage in sex-talk and I just laugh at them and at kids in general for some of the things they will do to get cash!

Anyways... Runescape is really fucked up. I think some people take it WAY too seriously and forget that after the fact, IT IS STILL JUST A FUCKING GAME.

I remember seeing a guy with a rune (g) plate and dragon legs and asked him to be my Bf. Hunter Came out he got 99 and bought every dragon item (in them days was around 25m for d chain) he gave it to me and i felt so bad i gave it back. I regret it so much now
