Maxthon - 200% faster than Google Chrome!

Maxthon has created the fastest browser around, with an engine that draws web pages 200% faster than Google Chrome.

I'm using it at the moment and it seems to be running pretty smoothly. Pages load pretty fast for me and the layout is pretty simple. I haven't noticed much of a difference between the loading of pages with Maxthon compared to Chrome, but it does seem fast.

The only negative I can say about it is that when I'm typing the letters seem to have the TINIEST delay, which can be irritating. It could just be because of my awful computer though. Give it a try.

 

Anyone clarify its not a virus download or something? haha

 

I'm sure you're more than capable for doing a quick Google search to find out how many people are using it (which would then prove it's not a virus, since so many people are using it). Hm.

 

Looks interesting. I highly doubt the 200% claim is true, although it may still be faster. Some of the features appeal to me, I'll give it a go.

Just tried it briefly. Pretty impressed with it so far, it feels really nice and the 'Resource sniffer' tool is really handy for things like downloading youtube videos and saving multiple images at a time. Will give it a closer look later.

 

It works good for me, and It's not a virus. I scanned it lol

 

200% faster at loading pages I'm assuming.

I'll have to investigate further and explore more of the features. Oh, also I was going through the settings and it said something about CTRL+CLICKing images to 'Quick Save' them. It's a pretty awesome feature to be honest.

 

What does 200% mean anyways?

You should try it out - you'll be surprised. There's nothing wrong with trying new things.

 

Iv been using Chrome for the whole time till now, Ill give this browser a try. I like it so far, Quite faster. Easy to use as well. but Chrome is simpler.

Google chrome is really pissing me off, and %200 sounds pretty good. Hopefully it is true, I am trying it out now.

I'm really used to Firefox though so it might be a one or two time use.

 

Ok so I just tried it out, first off, its really ugly. The user interface is confusing and no very functional. I also did not notice any speed increase from chrome. Honestly it felt like I was using an ugly, dumb downed version of opera. Even though chrome pisses me off, im going to stick with it for now. I do not recommend maxthon unless you are using internet explorer, because everything is better than that.

 

Chrome has been messing up on me lately so I'll probably this out soon.

 

I used this a while back and it was slow as sht so I uninstalled it, hopefully they updated it to be faster, gonna redownload
