    Staking questions.

I haven't dueled in a while but am thinking of getting back into it. So I have a few question so I don't make a fool out of myself, lol.

I saw people are "Whip Staking" does this mean they turn off everything except one handed weapons?

I assume Whips were once best for this but would someone advertising they are Whip Staking actually be better off if they used a Chaotic Rapier instead?

Also if this is the case would an 80 attack 99 str 70 def character be good for such stakes?

    Thanks for any help

    Excellent spam.

Your definition of whip staking is correct. And yes, rapiers are used more than whips. If you do not have one, make the person qc their dg and only stake if it is below 70. Dunno about the stats though.

Chaotic Rapiers are 80 Dung though, not 70.

The reason I say 70 is that due to macro minors one's stats might be rollbacked below 80. However, they'd still be able to use the rapier. I recall Snow Patrol selling one of these accounts

You can only use it if you had it wielded. Can't take it off and back on again.

Yeah I think it's funny when noobs advertise whip staking when you obv know that whip staking is dead.. It's either VLS, CLS, Crapier, etc.. I think it's more obv when they say whip staking rather no spec melee or something.

So would 80 attack 99 str 70 def and like 85 hp be good for this kind of staking?

Yes your getting the idea.. But one of the most important skills to have while staking is by far HP!!

I can't stress that enough.. having just 1-5 more hp lvls than your competitor can be the difference between a win and a loss..

I would recommend getting a SW bot so you can boost your HP to unusual heights.

For example: a staker with 80 atk 99 str 70 defence with 90 hp would be inferior to a 80 atk 93 str 70 def 99 hp staker..

That's just the way it is..

Along with HP defence comes in second as a useful skill..
You want to hit more often and get hit less than your opponent.. Atk and defence are great ways to achieve this.. Along with a unusually high HP lvl and you have yourself a pro staker..

    Hope I helped buddy!

    And good luck :p

Get 95 or higher HP, those levels will make a big difference. Also make sure that you get the rapier and invest in another type of weapon, like a VLS or Longsword.
