Banning if not watched?

Ok so say you have a bot running that doesnt have anti-ban features (hypothetically) and lets say its guarenteed noone will ever see you (hypothetically) so your never reported. Can you get banned?

 

Hypothetically, yes. Most anti-ban features are screen movements, mouse clicks, looking at your exp / friends list.

 

But if your never reported and noone ever see's you including a Jmod how would they look at you? out of the 500,000 players

 

I would say no if you are in a place by yourself. No one is there to report you. It's not like JaGeX random check every player.

 

Once you get in a random and your bot messes up/stops, JaGeX will see your account's playing history... so yes, you can get banned in that situation.

But yes you can still be banned contrary to what most of the idiots on this site will ramble they do find botters other than player reports. they check for long periods of play, clicking algorithms etc.

 

Anti-randoms are kinda a given on being on the bot cause well kinda a pointless bot if it stops every couple hours.
And I was actually just banned after a 36 hour straight bot of doing nothing but cutting trees in the wilderness x.x

 

maybe they do have a detector that gives names to them every 5 hour for people that haven't been doing anything but the skill straight (no anti-ban) so there might be a possibility.

 

But thats litteraly 4/5 players on runescape are botters. 99.9% are botting in obvious places.. i was in the wilderness cutting trees off to the side where noone in there right mind would go on f2p x.x why would they care?

 

It could have been something as stupid as somebody talking to you, and you not replying, so they assumed you were botting and reported you. In reality you could have been sitting at the computer playing legitimately, but with chat off. This is why I always keep my public and private chats off. If I ever get banned via player report, and I think someone reported me because I wasn't replying to them, I can always say my chat was off (assuming you have a txt log that tells you when people were typing to you).

 

Its all based on luck.

Some botted maxed main and nothing happened while others got 2 lvls and got banned.

 

A bot is more obvious if you are in a hidden spot. Populated areas are best.
