    wow not bad at all. colours look nice, maybe an outline would make it better

    Both are pretty decent but I think you should tone it down a bit on the text on the first image. The outer glow should be lowered in opacity a bit. Other than that, they're both good.

    Another suggestion would be to put a border on the images. I edited the second image to have a 1px bored - I personally think it makes it look nicer.
