If someone scams you on Paypal and you can't make a dispute or whatever is there any way you can get a refund of your money? I really need help since Spiffingly stole my birthday money from me.

Not exactly sure on this one, but if it's not too late, take screenshots of the conversation and transaction. Any incriminating pictures you can, and get a scam report in to prevent him from doing again. Hope everything works out for you.

Even if he does get banned I'm short $25 and he added me on an email and even sent me a PM but I looked at his thread and his msn was different.

Right, take pictures of that. Sorry I can't assist you in getting your money back, although someone else might be able to. Getting the spam report in ASAP will prevent him from doing the same to others. It's the best immediate course of action for the community.

Is it possible to dispute even as a gift but it would have to be as an unauthorized charge. Also make sure not to say anything about virtual goods as they will completely ignore this and you will lose.
Call them up and explain the situation see if they will listen as sometimes they are really impatient with you.
Was it straight from your paypal balance?

I'm sorry to say this, but unless you used a hacked PayPal / the normal IP on the PayPal is different, you cannot dispute the gift as an unauthorized transaction.

Also, I wouldn't suggest you dispute the gift without proof that the user scammed you. This is because he can report you for scamming if you dispute the gift!

Yes. It's possible to dispute. Call the paypal company and explain to them that you paid for a "virtual item" and that you never recieved the item. I got scammed this way and I recieved my money back within a few hours. They say wait up to 10 days, and also, if your paypal is linked up to your bank account, you have up to, I believe 60 days, to contact them and they can reverse the transaction as well. I do not recommend calling paypal + your bank because then you're getting double the money back if both go through and that's fraud, and you don't want jail for a RS trade.
