Has Runescape Effected your Real life?

Just wondering. What has Runescape did to you in real life?

For me, it screwed my grades

Not really, at a point in time it may have affected my grades, but that's about it.

 

effected it negatively? no not really, im not addicted to it as i used to so, thats a plus. but to the point that its affected my grades? no, never

 

I don't think so. Even if I never played or heard of RUnescape in my life I still would have never studied and cheated in school.

Wasn't really addicted though as much as other people around. I only played the game while others basically lived in Runescape. Maybe a little bit addicted as sometimes I would play for hours straight. Luckily I usually quit a few months later take a big years break and then come back. I might blame Runescape for giving me insomnia at times though.

I am more addicted to Sythe than I ever was on Runescape.

First it ruined my relationship, but then I started using bots and now im back in the life

 

It taught me how to use the internet.

 

I tend to play RS instead of going out, but it improved my english (as it's not my primary language).

 

It was the first computer game I ever played. I was one of those kids that played outside on the streets all day, but then one day my friend told me to go on my dads computer, and play a game called Runescape. Let's just say I stopped playing outside as frequently as I did after that point.

During my first days I knew nothing about RS, as well as nothing about computers. It's safe to say that I know so much about computers and have more knowledge than the average person because of RS. I have always controlled my playtime, although the only thing that hurts me is the playtime itself because I could be doing more productive things. Only thing I hate about RS is that it's so addicting, even after I quit for a year or a couple of months I always find myself playing again, partially because at times the game can be quite nostalgic for me.

 

played wow through highschool. didnt graduate highschool because of it. doesnt matter have my ged and taking college classes now so im happy.

I hated highschool btw.

RuneScape got me unaddicted to crack

 

it has certainly effected my life earlier, but when I came across bots, rs is a small hobby.

 

At first it ruined my social life in high school and people knew i played i then had to lie about how i didn't play anymore so i could get accepted. I was truly addicted to this game at about 13-16 years old. Now i am 19 and i honestly don't care much anymore, yes of course it gets nostalgic at times but even now i'm only here to make some easy cash i mean i bot frosts on my level 138 with 2200+ total and i could care less if he gets banned as he is only one of my numerous gold farmers

 

Yes... Ive skipped school, and my job, just to play runescape LOL..

 

It taught me a lot when I was younger... I learned about the economy and using your money wisely
