Error_game_js5connect - Unable to connect to update server.
Runescape was unable to connect to the update server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection.

I'm getting this error when trying to play runescape in school. Any help how to pass that problem? The computer says that firewall is off. I have tried using some proxys too, still not working. I even downloaded runescape client but no work

 

You can't do anything, places such schools have game pages blocked. I already tried everything and nothing worked.

 

It works on some classrooms, but still some it doesn't. It stops at loading screen

I played pservers & rs in the tech lab in middle school.

 

Will try Hidemyass next time. I was going to try it today, but instead used some other proxy

 

Use Zend2.com.. it's pretty good!

 

In my school most of the games aren't blocked mostly only in the media room. Other places like the library etc the internet was blocked to play any games/movies etc.
Proxies might work but its possible your school can block those as well. Good luck.
