I have made my best and most favored pure to date.

80 Attack
95 Strength
1 Defence
31 Pray
70 HP

ONLY 81 COMBAT!

Now for my question, I have 200k Dung tokens.
Should get a Chaotic Maul or Rapier?

 

You'll get dropped easily.
70Hp=Fail, and you won't even get any loot...
Plus there's a high chance of you getting smited & gg chaotic.
But, rapiers work well on 1 def pures.

nice, but any pics to back you up? and id go with the raiper, with the maul you'd take too long, you'd be dead by the time you'd whip up a good attack

 

I'd go with the rapier to dds but is far from the best pure ever, you'll get slaughtered by hybrids with maxed stats n they're 5 combats lower than you

 

Rapier for sure. or get enough tokens for both and just switch off

 

maul for pking. but rapier is good on a pure too

 

not best pure. best pures are 10def with ancients

 

How does this make sense??

OT: Very hot pure man! Just raise the HP.. like they said above you WILL be dropped, and smited.

 

Have fun fighting smites at 31 prayer.

 

really both of them are good, maul combo's alot especially on pures, and a rapier would do the same so i guess its just if youde rather hit faster, or slower and harder

 

Rapier. Just get ur hp up and 52 prayer and u'll be good.

 

Just don't bother being one defence:

1. The loots are garbage.
2. The Smite is annoying.
3. You can be killed by Granite Maul/DDS rushes so easily.

Get 95 prayer, korasi, barrows gloves, be a turmoil rune pure.

 

I'm 62 97 2 with 96 hp, 99 range, 99 mage, lvl 82..My pure is fucked up and I dont think you'll be able to hang..not hatin on you or anything, just trying to help you realize what's out there.

 

This - I just 3 hit a 76 hp 30 def turm.

I'm like 8 levels higher than you.

 

Dont risk your rapier or maul and buy a few godswords

 

Get rapier, and get higher hp and prayer, as when u get smited for your rapier you'll cry.

Rapier.
Higher Hp.
Higher Prayer.

Pure pking is a lot more calculated clicks then with mains as there's a lot more room for failure on a main as it's not as much constant hits as with pure's.

Also if you want to use maul just do whip to maul, maul seriously is an amazing weapon just it's slow so whip it out for a bit, then maul a few times see if you can get that ko and repeat. Dds for spec obviously.
