1st Proper Sig

hi was wondering what people thought of this


took me numerous restarts and all watching a youtube vid

Your Assassins Creed dude is pixelated... *.* You needed to use a higher-resolution character for it and probably crop it. :huh:

 

I'll rate it a 2/10 at the most tbh. It's not too great and there's so much to learn and improve on. Sorry if I am being a bit harsh but the truth is better than a lie. This way, you get real criticism which let you know if it's actually good or not.

 

Render is way too blurred. Bg is pretty chaotic as far as sharpness/flow goes.

Just keep at it

Horrible for a first attempt, did you even take the time to try or did you just use random filters behind a blurred out render? Try using a Photoshop tutorial not a sig tutorial, first people must know how to use Photoshop in order to use tutorials for sigs. Anything with effort will become golden just gotta work at it. Your welcome for the constructive criticism.

 

I actually kind of like the background, but your render looks like you didn't hold shift while you adjusted his size. If you do that, it will keep the proportion at the correct measurement, and won't blur it like that. GL with your next sig though.

 

The guy that you cropped into the background is extremely out of focus and not on target. I suggest you try to seperate it first from the background and after you finish it, then add the guy with the background. It seems that the image was smaller at some point and you transformed it stretching the image in the process.
Keep trying though. I believe the background isn't too bad at all.

For starters, I don't care whether you grabbed the shittiest render in the world. It's not blended at all. It's pixelated and is probably just sitting on a seperate layer.

Next, the backgrounds looks like you took the Windows Media Player, turned on "electricity" and screencapped it when you felt like it.

There's no border at all, no focal point. It just has no detail that makes it interesting whatsoever.

Please, show me this youtube video. I really don't think the video maker knows much about graphics.

 

It looks like you blended a whole bunch of colors, and then did an overlay. Then added a render on top.

3/10 - It was a nice attempt, but definitely keep practicing and fiddling around. To each their own though.
