Great post. I have one question though, regarding PayPal donations. You as head of donations, would run the PayPal account, wouldn't you? Am I missing something with that concept? The way I understood it, you were making it seem like that Sythe himself would have to run the PayPal acc.

 

I think it's always safe to assume if an administrator doesn't appear to be active, they're doing a lot of behind the scenes work. Great post.

I heard about you inactivity and saw a few people gossiping about it, although I'm not naming names. I just figure that if someone becomes inactive then so be it, they probably have things to in real life, if I was admin I'd rather go out and get pissed with my mates than sit in on Sythe, but that's just me.

 

I always was impressed by how quickly Matthew applied the donation perks. Keep up with the good work! Thanks for letting us know about the technicalities of Paypal donations.

 

Thanks for this Matthew this clears up a lot of recent problems. This was the exact post the sythe community needed to see. Also you and Giverny are the only ones who ever pmed me back when I had a problem, also is there any news on WU donations?

Knew all of this, but thanks a lot.
We, or at least myself, understand the activity situation. You do enough behind the scenes that I've no problem with you. You answer pm's much more frequently than other pm's, both about my RSGP donation application and my name change clarifications. You've been helpful to me, and I'm not sure why you're getting any shit. Thanks for the major donation update, your help is definitely noticed.

Tell the haters to get gone. As far as I am concerned you have been entrusted with more money via donations than all the admins have in their market careers.

 

Thanks for elaborating and finalising the issue of name changes, as I've also asked myself and others the same question.

Good luck with the barriers you are having with PayPal and hopefully they can be avoided and for PayPal to be implemented in the near-future.

Your commitment to Sythe.org has proven fortunate over the past week and I'm sure many people are grateful for that.

Thanks for the post. It cleared up a lot in regards to Paypal. Regarding your activity, it's your life and no one should question your loyalty to Sythe.org. As long as donations are being accurately processed, you're doing your job, and that's all you need to do.
