Sythe veterans?

I think you should add a rank for users that have been at sythe for a considerable amount of time.

Maybe a legend title or something similar.

I used to sell alot of gold a while back (sold alot of gp to R2p) and many of my vouches which were archived have been removed (click my name, youll see). I stopped playing for a year or 2 when wildy was removed and have come back fairly recently and will likely to sell gold in the future. All I am saying is there should be some sort of distinction between the older users and newer users in my opinion.

Also, just because you joined long ago doesn't mean you're trusted, this might deceive new users.

It clearly states "Do not request ranks for yourself or others". A veteran rank is not necessary, you can just look at the join date. And even if this rank did exist it should be given to someone who has been a prominent member of the community for a long time, not some gold seller who only has 500 posts from 2005.

People with 10,000+ postcount have the title ''Legend''.
And like said before, DNS list, though i'm jelly at your join date.

 

It's just another factor of a profile, doesn't really mean you are more trusted. You just want to have something more to "look more trusted"

That's just wrong... you are being selfish. Even if it wasn't on DNS list and I were 05 member, I won't support it, because you suggested it.

Secondly I am not being selfish, I have had alot of my old vouches deleted simply because they were really old and I almost have to start all over again. I have sold well over 2B between 2005 and 2008, which is over 5000usd worth of transactions. Its quite difficult to trade when so many newbies such as your self from 09 keep asking you to go first in a trade because they have donated a few bucks which make them seem 'trustworthy' and that they have over 20 vouches which are worth a few dollars each trade (pins, skill training, guide sales etc). I can guarantee you will definitely scam in the future because you just seem a stuck up prick, nothing personal.

And I only suggested this because in RS there are veteran capes which just show how long a player has been playing for.

I would support your suggestions, if they were good. I'm not a newbie, actually I'm 07 and join date has nothing to do. I've donated because I've made money in Sythe... I wanted to give back, I have plenty of vouches for MMing and over $100 trades.

Suggesting that I will scam in the future is plain incorrect just because I personally told you what I felt :idea:

No need for an abnormal rank just to be trusted, I've shown I'm trustworthy and I'll keep doing that.

Join date doesn't mean anything. Just because you're a 2005 member doesn't mean you are more trusted than someone else.

 

Terrible idea. It could misslead new users to think, "oh they have Legend as a user title, I should trust them no worries". No thanks to open more doors for scammers. No support.

 

Exactly this a rank is not needed I myself am an old user and would be angry of the introduction of this rank as it would give users false security that someone is somehow better because they''ve been here longer

 

Once it has been pointed out that a suggestion is on the DNS list, there's really no reason to keep spamming the thread.
