Suggestion: Monthly Lawsuits as a Community Deterrent

Hear me out.

Sythe has community funds. Lawyers exist. Bad actors also exist.

What if—purely hypothetically—we allocated a small portion of community funds to pursue one highly visible, slam-dunk civil case per month against someone blatantly scanning, abusing, or otherwise ignoring the rules?

Not because we expect to get rich off it.
Not because we enjoy paperwork.
But because sending a message has value.

Right now a scanning nigga can register a new account at his nans house. Vade, scan, repeat.
A public, well-documented lawsuit once in a while changes that calculus real fast.

Think of it as:

• Reputation defense
  
  
• Community deterrence
  
  
• Educational content (“don’t be this nigger”)
  

Obviously this would need:

• Clear criteria
  
  
• Community voting
  
  
• Legal vetting
  
  
• Transparency
  

But if nothing else, the existence of such a fund would make people think twice.

I already suggested that people that want to sell in the market here must submit proof of ID to admins. That would go hand in hand with this suggestion. Then little wolfie would be facing criminal charges

 

Imagine the trauma the Mods would go through seeing some of these mongrels
