You can act homosexual, but you will never be a homosexual. Why don't you get this, you can't change your sexual orientation...

What are homosexuals? According to you, they're not homo sapiens.

    Homosexuality a choice?

Let's assume this to be true.

    You have proved nothing.

If I wanted to be a blind, I could become blind. For example, I could grab a knife, and jab my eyeballs out and eat them. This however does not conclude that ALL people that are blind chose to be blind.

Also, there is a slightly difference in being attracted to a member of the same sex, and conducting homosexual activities.

Are you implying that people are born queer rather than choosing to become queer?

I guess you could be born with a mental disorder that makes u attracted to penises but idk. I'm talking about sexual attraction.

    Homosexuality a choice?

Many studies have been done about ones sexuality. There seems to be a consensus that it is not genetic, which is a necessity for one to be 'born' that way.

Ahh, so now your classifying homosexuality as a mental disorder?

You're a heterosexual, you said if you wanted to be a homosexual, you can turn into one. Prove to me that you can actually change your sexual orientation?

    Homosexuality a choice?

    1. This is what I've been saying.

    2. What are you talking about? I was saying that for someone to be born a queer then they would have to be born with some mental hotwire that made them attracted to penises. And as you stated, people are not born queer. They choose to be.

Last time i saw anything about this was on the news and that supposedly you are born attracted to the same sex, so if it's true or not, i'd believe you were born with it.. Then again you know people nowadays ;)

What? You're sexual orientation is heterosexuality. You said if you wanted to be gay, you could turn into one. I'm stating that it's not possible and you to back up your statement with PROOF.

lolwat? Okay, it appears that you are trying to ask me if I can be queer without wanting to be queer. My answer: That's known as "pretending". I'm pretty sure that "pretending" is something that I'm personally capable of (I wouldn't pretend to be queer). I know, sounds far out there right?

    Homosexuality a choice?

If homosexuality is not attributed to genetic factors, then it must be attributed to environmental factors. Given that one cannot choose the environment they are reared in, you can't conclude that homosexuality is a conscious choice.

I think you misunderstand me. Since we've established that someone born that way, we must looks to other factors. This is not a two way bifurcate, there are more options than simply choosing to be. There are environmental factors that influence ones sexuality, it is not a conscious choice for one to be set into a certain environment, they merely respond accordingly.

    Before rambling on:

You are saying that homosexuality is a choice. This is a positive claim, and thus you'll need some evidence to back it up. Do you have any?

What are the other options? They are forced to be queer? They get anally raped in prison and therefore that makes them a queer? What are you getting at?

Sigh... You think homosexuality is a choice, but it's not, I doubt you even watched the video on the previous page? You said this:

You can't change your sexual orientation.. you can pretend like you said, but you can't genuinely change it... What don't you get about this?

    1. Are you saying perceiving one's environment is done unconsciously?

    2. See 1.

    3. I don't have any evidence that I can layout for you. Nor am I going to go searching for it. But, thanks for "indirectly" causing me to raise my post count.

-As for this thread, I'm leaving it now. Thanks guys. It's been fun.
