need help installing rsbots on Centos5. linux help

im having trouble installing the new rsbots.net client on my centos 5 linux operating system. a few weeks ago i was able to install and run the client fine. but as i see it was updated on 8/11 and i cannot figure out how to even install the new one, let alone get it up and running. any help would be GREATLY appreciated if anyone has any knowledge/experience with this.

Try redownloading I guess :/ I have no problems with the new version on Linux.
But if you have access to Windows, try out AutoBotters

do you mind telling me how you installed it? i cant even change the permissions to make it executable. it also looks much different when opened with mousepad then the old one did. im completely lost as my only previous experience with linux was setting up a vps to rune rsbuddy and rsbots bots a few months ago and i was able to figure it out then, this one just seems more challenging

 

I just selected Linux from the install batch file, worked fine
Never used Centos5 though. I installed it on Backtrack Linux.

im having the same problem

try:
•cd Desktop
•unzip botclient -d NeXus

in the terminal, didnt work for me, but i always do shit wrong lol, i am also trying to get rsbuddy too

 

wget impsoft.info/download.php -O Installer.jar
java -jar Installer.jar

Type that in the terminal and it should start downloading RsBots.

Still trying to find out how to do it for RSBuddy.

 

try this for rsbuddy maybe?

mkdir -p /root/Desktop/RSBuddy
cd /root/Desktop/RSBuddy
wget http://rsbuddy-api.googlecode.com/files/RSBuddy-1417.jar -O RSBuddy.jar
wget vps4rs.co.uk/rsbuddy/Run.sh

chmod +x Update.sh
chmod +x Run.sh

for wget, it always displays an error message for me
smper, how do i log back into my vps lol? i logged out somehow and cant use anything, also, nothin displays, just a blue screen

 

Type that IP in the VNC viewer you received in the email. Add a :1 after the ip, so it should be "IP:1" then hit enter and type in your password.

Going to try that command right now.

 

Figured out the error message, new code is in quote above. Didn't work with the vps4rs.co.uk/rsbuddy/Run.sh and down code. Gotta work on that.

 

but can you open the file? and run a bot?

 

Not yet, but error message didnt come up so maybe thats a start.

Hmm i think i got the commands down but says the file is invalid/corrupt. See if you can do anything with this.

Open a terminal
cd Desktop/RSBuddy
sh Run.sh
