Gatestoning=ban? WTF

I keep seeing people saying that gatestoning has a high ban rate, is this true? I saw about 3 weeks ago that it was one of the safest bots because you're in a dungeon. please post if you've been banned/rolled back from gatestoning.

 

Yeah, plenty of people have been saying they've been banned for it, while others have said they haven't had a problem at all. I think it's all in the mouse speed and hours ran, but I could be wrong.

 

I'm running at fastest mouse speed, think I should slow it down a bit? I'm only getting 47k xp an hour. Wouldn't the people getting 60k an hour have an insane mouse speed?

 

Gatestoning was the only time I ever got banned, it is a very high ban rate these days.

I had four accounts nailed in rapid succession after only about 30 hours of botting them. I think the f2p ones get banned and the p2p ones get ignored.

how'd you get the runes on f2p?

 

You can make cosmic runes in dung on f2p. Mine was f2p as well. I was using like 2 mouse speed also.

Edit: It counts as a macroing minor so I got 14 days. They also set my magic back to 1

i hit 99 2 days ago 100% gatestoned. If you got banned, your doing it wrong. I 12 hour a day'd and 24hr at weekends, fastest mouse speed, no breaks.

 

Yea if you use breaks then you have less chance, I did it 24/7 for 4 days straight.

 

i dont see how people got banned, your only seen by others when going to the room, i did it in p2p by accident and got gnome balled, stood trying to get in for 3 hours. didnt get banned.

jagex arent going to ban you if you got 0 reports as they dont have time to track it, you probably got banned doing some other bot aswell as gatestone.

 

i have a 92 hour proggy somewere on sythe and i botted for like a week straight 24/7....I killed my laptop battery. but i did get 99 mage=)

 

Yeah it's true the guy who made the script gave the bots coding to fagex from what i heard many people got banned as well, it's really high.

^ that, check it out go to the very end, more people are getting banned from it, with little time using it, so it's kinda obvious now. i'm just glad i hit 55 magic before it was a high ban rate

 

Well to me it's very safe.
I've been using it for weeks on the fastest speed and nothing happen.
