Changing songs with my iPod Touch.

Okay basically I want to be able to change what song is playing on iTunes with my iPod touch(good whilst gaming).
I know about the APP that does it through the internet, but as my internet is fairly slow it is sometimes slow to change the song and such.
Is there anyway I can change the song whilst it is connected via the USB cable?

 

Not that I'm aware of. Have you considered using something through bluetooth? I don't know much about apple stuff tbh, but just thought I'd suggest it in case it didn't cross your mind.

 

Just use your mouse?...

 

Get a keyboard with multimedia controls?

 

I don't know but you could just minimize your itunes into your start/bottom bar and basically change the songs with your mouse. iTunes won't get in the way since you just over and click on the song you want. Depends though if you play the game in fullscreen or not.

 

Support. This is probably the easiest way. They're really not much more expensive than regular keyboards.

 

I play in fullscreen so I don't want to minimize something to change a song.

I have multimedia controls but they don't want to work with iTunes. + I don't really feel like buying a new keyboard for a few keys, lol.

Guess I'll have to put up with the remote app.
