Age of Empires Online! August 16!

I hope I'm not the only one on this forum that is excited for this release.

It has been an epic franchise for many years and I think they've taken the ultimate step in universalising this game.

It's free! No micro-transactions. Only content packs which you can buy, but it's up to you.

Comparing this to AOE I, II and III. They've made AOE into a kids game.

I won't lie, it was quite disappointing when I got my hands on it. You have to pay to unlock the complete game pack (which is fair enough) but it's just a cartoon-ish version of it's older games with a global chat option.

 

I watch they talking about this on Good Game SP. I rather play the 3 one.
