Web Site Creation, I need help on the basics and advanced.

I am a professional scripter in my free time. I've worked with Perl, PHP, CSS, HTML, and MySQL quite often, but as of the moment don't have the time to continue that work.

I am willing to pay cash (paypal is the easiest method) or RSGP for professional web design. I'd like you to continue reading below, though.

I am forming a clan for Planetside 2. I am going to buy a LARGE ventrilo server, as well as buy a domain. It will be a .com domain. I have never bought a domain before, so I'll need suggestions on where to buy it from and who has the best web-hosting with the easiest way to connect to it via Dreamweaver.

So, if you can help me buy a domain by giving me good suggestions, I'll be grateful. I'm looking at something like www.ravenwood.com (already taken but you get the idea) for a domain name, for a layout maybe something like http://47th.info/ with Ravenwood colors (red, gold, black) and different images. I can create all of the images if need be. If you can help me with the design and construction, I'll pay you. I'd like estimates and samples before any negotiations on wage, however. And yes, if you do a good job, you'll make good money.

getting a domain name on .com with dictionary words is difficult. i think there is a domain mafia working around us and they get every valuable domain name and then resell it on high cost. i myself could not get .com domain name for my company and now working with .net domain.

 

I'll be more than happy to help for the experience but I'm not professional I only understand html, and css have dove into extreme designing yet.
