Best p2p bots?

QUESTION: For LRC (will be doing this on w84 obviously), is it worth spending a day or 2 training combat? To reduce the risk of dying or is that not really much of an issue? Also please read further in this post and help me decide whether it's worth equipping my LRC bots with Dragon Picks.

Suggestions so far: It seems LRC is a very popular choice. The only disadvantage is 80 Mining. Using kMiner I would be using the M1D1 (Mine 1, Drop 1) setting on an f2p world; but as of yet I am unsure where to train. As someone mentioned, it's not worth risking the membership for training; only for when the bot starts making me some dough. I have 3 pins ready now; so all I need is to know where to train. If this goes well I would be expanding the bot farm to support my pure aswell (not on my pure much atm though; skilling and questing on my main).

Thought I would have 2-3 bots running 12h/day to keep my main supported. They would all be p2p; but I want minimal start up cost. I've heard sorc garden is very good but insane ban rate. After some feedback, it seems LRC with kMiner is pretty awesome. On the wiki it states 140k cash/hr is achievable with a rune pick and 80 mining.

This makes a dragon pickaxe sound insanely attractive; but is it more or less safe to bot with a dragon pick? Unless RS updates the bot would never log out during the botting; and wouldn't log out before handing me the pickaxe and gold ore mined.

 

kMiner, a few bots at LRC 24/7 is easier to bot (no quests, just give a pick and mine). 24/7 is higher chance of ban but to be honest by the time you get banned you'll have made so much more than you would have 12 hours a day

 

Sorc garden has always been a target for mass banning.

Kminer as said, is the best for steady income. Just get a couple of accounts at LRC and you could make some decent cash.

It depends on the stats on the accounts to determine what options you have. Runecrafting is a great option, but you really need a decent combat level and 57 summoning to use it effectively.

 

I would say sorc garder/LRC with kminer. Easy cash either way.

 

I've used kminer for steady income at LRC no bans to date and have made quite some money.

 

I cannot be using these bots for more than 14h/day, but I guess LRC seems like a reasonable suggestion. Forgive me if I'm asking something stupid here, but do GOP bots work verry well? If you had 10 bots and managed to make 5 go to the green and 5 to the yellow, and randomizing win/loss, then on average 5 bots would be making 200-230k/hr, but the other 5 wouldn't be making a penny (Ok, you get a very small amount of tokens, but it's not realy worth cashing in). Obviously the start-up cost is far greater, but you could do this on a random world (as long as it's not one of those 50/50 worlds); but that's just my thought and probably has been mentioned before. I'm just wondering if it would work tho.

Back to the LRC kMiner bots; I'm assuming training mining would be done in p2p too; unless I'm getting 77/80 and tin ore :S. How long would it take for 1-80 then? Probably wouldn't be risking more than 12/13 hours a day.

 

It would take you under a week to get 1-80 if you don't 24/7

 

Yep, that's approx 8 hours a day including small auto-breaks in between.

 

I think it's better to just put 4 bots in a GOP world, and 6 LRC bots. Having half of your bots make nothing is VERY risky, and not beneficial either as you're not making money with them. As soon as your mining goes up, you can put more bots on LRC.

 

I might be able to bot 24/7 for their 80 mining, but after that I doubt I'd be letting them on 24/7.

 

go 24/7 1-80 mining in f2p, then make them mems for LRC. You don't risk wasting your mems from getting banned that way

I 24/7'd mining (Powermining ore, M1D1 setting on kMiner) grabbed 77 mining at a decent rate of time. Although, at this time i would bank ores mined (went to rimmington, mined ore, banked it for some profit)
currently i myself am looking at making another LRC bot. Its quite a nice steady income, but nothing over the top amazing.

So, the next bot im going to defiently 24/7 powermine iron till 77ish, or atleast around there.

 

That's what I was thinking; but the competition for any rocks in f2p is MAD!

This. All my LRC bots got members instantly. The odds of getting banned from 1-80 are actually quite low. In P2P there are three good spots to M1D1 iron and they are all much less crowded.

 

Where do you suggest I train? Just behind the Piscatoris fishing colony there will definitely be some jackass who will report me lol; and granite isn't really that safe either. But I guess I could agree with you. Please post back with suggestions or prove my fears wrong.
