A banner I made

Hi all this is my first post in the GFX section. I was planning on using this as my sig later.

It was made all with the ellipse tool, a cool Bolshevik font, and a stain texture for the overlay.

 

it looks good but a bit plan, but good job

 

Gotta say i love the icon on the left, where did you find it/where does it come from?
Overall your banner looks a bit empty in my opinion. I would try adding random effects around the text

 

Thanks, I made all the icons myself with the ellipse tool and I do agree it looks a bit plain I'll play around with the text effects some more. But I don't want to make it look too crazy

 

If the text stuck out a bit more, and if it had a cut-in border, it'd be perfect.
