I recently reformatted my computer and I need to RE-DL MSN. It says I need SP2, and I'm waiting for the auto-update to find it but I was wondering if there were any alternatives to downloading the MSN program that would still let me chat through it.
Why don't you just go to Windows Update and manually update so that you can enjoy MSN knowing there won't be any issues etc?
I know there is in Windows 7, probably Vista too, and more than likely XP as well. Tell me which OS you're using and I'll tell you what to do.
www.ebuddy.com http://www.iloveim.com/ does this works? And i believe you can download service pack 2 manually, it's for windows xp?
The best multi-platform IM system out there was trillian at one point... Until they started advertising like hell in their free package. However, at $12 a year it is by far worth every penny. I use it for almost everything I do - MSN/AIM/Yahoo/Google/IRC/ICQ/Skype - they all can connect through it and show incoming e-mails. Not to mention it stores every single conversation had on to the hard drive automatically (pro version only unfortunately) - a big advantage for any transactions occurring from sythe users.
