    SAT/ACT scores?

I just got mine in the mail and I want to know how I did compared to everyone else :

    SAT - 1st Try : 1920
    SAT - 2nd Try : 2020

    ACT - 1st Try : 26
    ACT - 2nd Try : 27

I'm mailing these off to universities in about a month or so.

    SAT/ACT scores?

I think I got an 1860 while others in my class got 2100-2200. You shouldn't put too much stock into the scores as I was essentially at the top of my class intelligence wise even though my scores and grades did not always show it. These tests are more testing your ability to take a test more than anything else.

    SAT/ACT scores?

    ACT - First Try: 26
    ACT - Second Try: 29
    ACT - Third Try: 34

I had a problem with the English portion of the test, seeing as it's not my first language.

    SAT/ACT scores?

1748 on the SAT. I didn't study, and went to bed at my usual time which is midnight, test was fairly early and it was cold, but I'm not blaming those things for my score.

    SAT/ACT scores?

27 honestly is a score to be proud of. That can get you into most colleges here in the United States, minus Ivy-League and smaller private colleges or schools like Notre-Dame, Stanford etc.

If you also have good grades in school, took a challenging compilation of classes and participated a lot in school, you're set.

I personally got a 30 last year, hoping to get it up a point or two but it's no biggie.

    SAT/ACT scores?

Thanks. I just had to get used to the English language, then it made the English and Reading sections easier. That's why I had such big jumps.

    SAT/ACT scores?

My scores are similar to yours. SAT's I got around an 1800 (can't remember exactly) and a 28 on the ACT. My grades are excellent but my testing scores don't really correspond with my grades. If I were you I would submit the 2020 you got. That seems to be your best grade. I wouldn't worry too much because you'll definetly get into a good college. It might not be an ivy league but theres plenty of good ones out there. Apply to a couple safeties, a few matches, and one or two reaches. I'm going to be applying next month aswell to Boston College, Boston University, and a couple other colleges. Good luck on your applications and give us an update in the future!

    SAT/ACT scores?

SAT's are a joke. I got 720 on the writing part, even though I got 6/12 on the short essay, the only actual writing on the test. For some reason I did a subject test on math and got an 800, despite missing a couple problems (why would they curve it...?). Total 2220 on the 3 basic tests, but I don't take it to seriously.

2020 should be good for most colleges/universities. scores are only one of many factors anyways. Your most limiting factor will probably be cost.
