Overdress to school?

Okay, my sister thinks I overdress to school, which I guess considering most of the people that go to my school... I overdress. I mean, wearing this Teen Skittles Tank Dress to school (of any kind) is a huge deal to most of the school, mostly because most of my school is full of ghetto people, haha. And NO ONE wears heels. I want to start wearing heels to school this year.. but literally no one except teachers do...

But what about in other places? Is it weird to wear dresses to school every day? Would it be weird to wear heels to school? Whats your opinion towards overdressing? Should I wear what I want to wear regardless?

 

Nothing wrong with a dress. However I've never seen any student wear heels to school.

In my opinion, people should be entitled to wear whatever they want. There's no such thing as over dressing.

 

Surely this is an ad but who in their mind would wear that as a casual dress to school?
