    Alright so I recently bought an account off some dude, and today it got locked. Both me and the guy have tried to recover it but it keeps saying that we're providing insufficient information. He doesn't remember much of the information, so we're trying our best. Will it eventually let me recover it or will it be locked forever? I also e-mailed [email protected] to explain that I don't remember much of the information because I have some disease, and that I moved countries because of my fathers' line of work blah, blah blah. How long will it take until I get a reply, and do you think they'll help me out? I'm really frustrated at this point, after 10 attempts to unlock it so far. Can anyone help me out or give some advice?

    It's locked becuase you have tried to recovery it so many times.

    You will have to ethier get all the correct info, or wait to see what jagex says.

    I can wait a few days, I just want to make sure that its not gone forever.

    Another problem is that 2 different people are trying to recover it. there more likely to not unlock it because people from different locations are trying to recover/ unlock it.

    Have the other guy take care of it on his own. Once jagex see's that only 1 ip is trying to unlock it they'll be more likely to return it imo. As for the email. jagex prolly gets many of those daily. Emailing them is likely to do nothing.

    When it says "Extra info" in the recovery process, but some general stuff there. Thats what helped me recover one of my accounts.

    I do put lot's of information in there but still no success. GF level 122, 150M wasted. :'(

    Dude I actually have the exact same problem right now. At first the account I got from him was recovered twice and he was able to get it back. The third time it did get locked. I thought it was him but I realized it was someone else. Its currently locked and we both tried to unlock it and got the same thing as you.
    I believe that it is a GF indeed unless you do remember all the info. Try to make sure one of you recovers it. I am still trying to recover it everyday I get time. Since you aren't the original owner its against Jagex rules anyways so contacting them won't do any good. Just keep trying. It does suck though :(

    Btw the best key evidence is date of creation and isp/service provider the account was made. If you know those you sure to get the account back.

    Erm, unless the person you bought the account from is very trusted, there's a good chance he could be lying to you. If he truly is the original owner, he should be able to recover it no matter what...
