Goblin wasn't as good as I had expected, although I'm really looking forward to Earl's return.

He's already offered a lot, it would just be nice to see him and Tyler uniting again to make some dope ass music.

I haven't heard any of them except Tyler, and i think he's wack. To get noticed he has to rap about the most stupid & insane shit you could think of, has to diss other rappers obviously much better than him (and get burned in return multiple times), & eats a fucking cockroach. He's an actor more than a rapper.

I'd say Earl or Tyler though. Tyler is most famous atm but many people agree Earl is the better rapper of them all.

 

I reckon Frank Ocean actually, he's been featured a lot already with some pretty credible artists. He also doesn't really fit the whole OFWGKTA group IMO...

 

I encourage everyone who likes OF to listen to this song while reading the lyrics, then watch the second video. In the second video they have to do a censored version of the song. SO FUNNY. :laugh:

 

You have no idea what you're talking about. Any rapper he's dissed, he's by far better than them. BUT, everyone has their own opinion, though most would agree that Tyler is better than the rappers he's dissed. His lyrics aren't just insane shit, he's said multiple times that he doesn't rap from his perspective, he raps from the viewpoint of a serial killer/rapist. He's neither of those, but has thoughts similar to those. He can flow like no other rapper, and is at a completely different level than any other rapper I've heard. Earl is on the same level though. He was so young too, he's almost 18 now, but I'm sure he's been working on some good shit while he's been in Samoa. I cannot wait for his return!

Frank Ocean is really good tbh, and I think he can get big/more fame doing singles etc.

 

I don't like Frank Ocean's rapping, but he's a good singer. JohnK's right though, that he really doesn't fit the whole "Odd Future" group.

 

I never heard of this group (im guessing) before but just checking out the first video I have to say they are not that bad at all. I can feel the reality and feeling in the lyrics and its based on his life I am guessing. Lot better than other rappers out there. I could relate when he talked about religion as well. Still he could minimum the swearing a bit lol. Guess he has alot of rage inside him. I do like their style though.

I am guessing the video "Yonkers" is what you are talking about. That was a pretty creative video meaning how controversial it was but having truth in it.

I'll check them out some more see if there is something better from them. If you guys know anything from them I should check out let me know. Would like to listen to some rappers from time to time since basically I only listen to "old school".

 

Earl by Earl Sweatshirt is probably my favorite from Earl.

Just like with Hollywood Undead the stole the line "As I walk into the valley of the shadow of death" from Coolio, at least Coolio came up with it first or the first person I heard that line.

Anyways I personally like Tyler better than Earl it's just my opinion.
He is still a good rapper though with his own style. Love the video though holy shit.
