Wanting computer surround sound. Help?

    Wanting computer surround sound. Help?

    If you don't have one installed in one of your expansion slots, you more than likely just have onboard audio. The two speaker systems I linked probably wouldn't need one though honestly. The onboard should do just fine for any budget system.

    I honestly don't know where you'd find that info at though, but I'd venture to guess either in the device manager, dxdiag, or reference your motherboard's manual as a last resort because it's more than likely on there somewhere.

    What you're showing is the onboard audio and (more than likely) front port audio.

    The easiest way to see what you have is to look at the back of your computer for the audio ports. There should be 6 of them (and possibly optical) on a relatively new computer.
