Ipod Touch tech help

So I bought an itouch from a kid today and when I handed him the money for the itouch he ran to his car and drove off so I knew something was off. Anywho, I go instead, hook up the itouch to itunes. The itouch screen says Ipod is Disabled - Connect to Itunes. So i go to itunes and this shows up http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq257/pur3bloody/itouch.png Anyway I researched this very well on google and such and have found nothing to help me. The kid ignores me on facebook and I'm guessing the itouch was stolen because the thing says "MAX'S Ipod" and the kid's name was Chris so yeah. If anyone had similar problems or know about that stuff or maybe someone works for Apple by chance? =p. Anyway let me know if you have any ideas.

Well Ricky/Panic says he works for Apple but he is banned on here. I know for a fact that to unlock it you have to hook it up to it's original computer. I personally have mine set up as well and can only be unlocked from my computer. You might have to go to an Apple store and they should help you out for the best help.

I believe though the only solution would be to completely restore your iPod because if there is a passcode then you will need to enter the passcode to use iTunes with that iPod. Since you just bought it from him I am guessing you don't care whatever is on it right? When you restore it it will completely erase everything on the iPod Touch and will put it to its original factory settings.

I mean if you can't get a hold of him for the passcode this is your best bet.

 

I have the passcode but it's locked because it's been attempted 10 times before I received it. The only way I can restore it is if I hook it up to the original computer so I read on several things. Please speak of a manual restore holding the home button for 10 seconds, releasing and holding for another 10 seconds or something but that doesn't work.

 

Try holding the home button and sleep button at the same time for 10 seconds. Believe you forgot the sleep button which is that small button to the top side. After you hear the charm an Apple should come up. Hold the home button again for 5-10 seconds and another sound should come up. Believe thats when the itunes menu should pop up and you can restore from there.

Yeah, I already tried that several times because I found that on google and stuff and it doesn't work. And it doesn't make the apple sound or whatever but after a bit it makes a weird sound which then pops up that message in the picture on itunes.

That would work, except there is no screen that asks me to connect to itunes, it automatically connects. It is not that I do not know the passcode, it is that there is no spot to enter it at.

And that youtube video's method did not work either.

If someone can figure this out for me i'll toss em the money in my paypal at the moment which is like 4 dollars and some cents.

Yes, but if you read the original post, if it's disabled, you can only restore it from it's original computer, otherwise you have to do a special restore which also did not work.

 

Just closed thread I guess... Just got a hold of my friend that works for Apple and he gave me every possible solution and nothing will work.
