    Have any of the other Australian sythers noticed how much our prices are raised compared to other countries?
    2 examples;
    Asus MARS II graphics card, $1500 in the US, $1700 here.
    Modern warfare 3 on steam, $99 USD, US it is $59 USD

    You sure the prices are in USD and not whatever currency you use? It could be conversion rates. If not then damn.. that's ridiculous. I know I would not pay $100 for MW3. Fuck thaaaat.

    Taxes.
    Shipping doesn't mark up much for other countries, but seriously almost a 100% raise in price for a game, rather bullshit if you ask me.

    GST certainly doesn't help. If a game in Aus cost $99, GST would be $9. Whereas the same game in the US could cost $55, and GST would only be $5. Also, the insane amount of freight and transportation required is phenomenal.

    Meh, I'm use to it tbh.
