Hello everyone and welcome to my guide to “Flipping”. This is one guide that I have written to provide knowledge of the term flipping. I hope you learn from this and become a richer RuneScape player.

A Guide to Flipping
Chapter 1:
Introduction

Flipping is a form of merching, buying items for less and selling higher. With flipping you do not have to wait days or weeks for your profit but you can get it within minutes. While merching you can make a lot of profit or lose a lot, this is why you must be smart and able to access the game every day. With Flipping you can’t lose money, unless you give up on a flip, but the down-side is you can’t always make as much as you would merching. There is an upside to every down-side; with flipping you can make money within minutes.
What do I need?

To start flipping you do not need a whole lot. You can start off with any amount of money. But the more money you got the more money you can make.
Where do I start?

The only place you ever will have to be is the Grand Exchange. This is the place where all your money will be made. Everything you need is here, bankers and exchangers. It is your safe haven here.

Fact: I have spent all my game time in the Grand Exchange.

Chapter 2:
How to flip

First you have to find the item you are going to flip. You can use any item there is, try to use items that should always be in the Grand Exchange. Items like runes, lobsters, sharks, and so on. I will use a null item, this means I will not use a real item and the prices are random numbers from my head.

First you want to get your buy and sell price. To do this you want to buy one item for +25% of the market price. So I will buy Item: Null for 25,987gp. Write down the actual price you buy it for, this will not be the 25,987gp but something lower. So let’s say I got it for 23,897k take this number and add 1 to it. This is will be called your Sell Price. You heard me right, now you might be thinking I just bought the item why is it a sell price? It will make sense at the end of the guide, and if you think it doesn’t after you read the think harder.

Ok so your sell price won’t be useful if you have no items to sell so let’s find your Buy Price. So you should still have your item (null) sell that in the Grand Exchange for a total of 1gp. Trust me you won’t only get 1gp, the grand exchange give you the highest price that someone is buying at. I got 19,492k. Subtract 1 from that number and write it down.

So now you got your Buy and Sell price you got to buy the items and make $$$$. So buy them at your buy price, the lowest, and sell them at your sell price, higher one.

The Grand Exchange has limits for the items sold. This allows the economy to be stable, with out it any person with the money could change the prices. I have put a picture below of the limits, this will be very useful when flipping. I suggest you save it and have it open when you flip.



Soon I will compose a list of items you guys could flip. Every item is able to be flipped you just need the money. It does not matter if your making 1gp per item or 1m, you are making money and that is what is important.
