    I have just received a ban.

    Reason "Infraction accrual"

    I was banned not too long ago for "spamming" too much. This does included the two or three infractions which I had accumulated previously does it not?

    I don't see why I'm being banned again. Are infractions re-usable for banning purposes?

    It's simply a temporary ban for spamming. It means you've built up enough infractions to warrant a ban. If your infractions had not yet expired, then yes, they can accumulate with new infractions and result in a longer ban.
