Are CC upgrades allowed now?

I remember when there where mem sales and mem buying... there was a sticky that said CC membership isn't allowed to be sold.

Is it now allowed?

 

When I was a Moderator, I made a sticky regarding this. I think it's been combined with one of the other stickies.

The main reason I made it is because the CCs, for one, could be phished. Another reason is that the account can be recovered if the CC is attached to it.

Recurring membership basically means a CC/PayPal is attached.

 

I was going to MM a trade yesterday where the upgrade seller would subscribe with CC and cancel recurring.

CC memberships were never allowed.
By using Credit Card information the account can be stolen.
Plus, the Credit Card itself can be stolen and used to upgrade the accounmt.

 

That's why I told the users to not do it...

I was like you can get the acc recovered, and the upgrade seller said he had done 10 upgrades already... inb4massivescam
