    Fraps has a free trial, but is not free. I believe the trial is only 30 second cuts and has a Fraps watermark embedded on a corner... But I could be mistaken. :p

    Although, if you really want it that bad... I would imagine you could torrent it? o_O

    Fraps does have a free trial that lasts 30 seconds before it stops recording, although I think they removed the watermark. I bought Fraps for about $35. Fraps is alright, and unlimited people can download it if you give them access to your members area. Although Camtasia Studio is better (visually no lag when recording) if you're on a lower end PC.

    Not attempting to be off-topic here, just trying to find out more info to help out chaotic twin. How good is Runescape's framerate when using Jing to record? I'm not home right now, so I might try it when I get home and post how it goes here.
