Freebies/competitions websites

I never find any of these sites to be legit.

 

It will not be a RuneScape site, and if you have an antivirus, there will be no problems.

 

Great idea, 100% support. There's many legit sites that give free prizes, a section to talk about them would be great, members could post the things they've won, etc. Would be awesome, support

Plus, lots of threads would fit in there.

I have one that I had forgotten about until my friend brought up some of their programs... However it's for (mostly college) students only - yes free stuff still.

I support, but how would the staff distinguish between the two?

 

You see does the website provide free stuff/is some kind of competition to win something.

Or it is a website where you watch films for example and it is not needed in this section, so this thread would get reported and the creator would be infracted.

It's a good idea.

There are plenty of websites out there that require you to take surveys and they reward you with points and once you accumulate enough, you can trade it in for cash or items.

I think we have enough support and this is a very good idea, so this should be done.

 

I like the idea, but the biggest issue I can see, would be randoms posting links that not everyone knows for sure are safe or legit. We would definitely need someone keeping close tabs on what's being posted there...

 

A mod could be assigned with knowledge of the sect.

Stickies could be made with proof of payments for certain websites that are proved to be legitimate as at the specific payment date.

I think a dedicated moderator could overcome the issue of a dodgy website aimed at ultimate deceit.

 

I love the whole idea except the referral part. Referrals that will benefit your account/you shouldn't be allowed as this will for sure attract a lot of spam and advertisement. I support as long as only a direct referral to the site is given that will not affect/benefit you in anyway.

As it was said also, proof of payment should be shown. There is probably also a dedicated moderator that is willing to patrol the section from rule-breakers.

I think this would but a fun idea.

But i beleive in order for it to work, we would need a dedicated mod to make sure it's legit and has no intent of causing any harm to us.
