Explanation of the trade:

I ordered to get some quests done through Luxos discord after have not playing rs for a few years. Morita helped me in the ticket and priced out 5 quests. I paid.


Morita logged into said account to confirm bank. There wasn’t much gp just good untradebles on the account. He asked for 50m more gp for gear which I met him in game and traded him while he was on the account. This happened at 12/23 6:06pm.


At 7:57pm I get an email of a suspicious login on that account. Which we confirmed was Morita but the email was just delayed.


Morita tells me it will be 24 hours to complete the quests. Cool I go to sleep and prepare for the holidays. Hence why it has taken me 6-7 days to make this report I’ve been too busy to deal with a scamming in 2025 lol. Anyways.


I have not played RuneScape since this jagex launcher stuff. So my account was never assigned to a jagex account.


Mind you I traded him at 6:06pm on 12/23. Suspicious email sent to the registered email to that account at the time at 7:57pm almost 2 hours later.

The suspicious email went to the email I had registered at the time which is different than the creation email but I also have the creation email.


Very next morning 12/24 8:34 am I get an email to the creation/login email not the registered email stating “jagex account not found”


No emails sent to the registered email. Only the creation email. Morita sends me message at 8:18am saying the worker cannot loggin. I see it all when I wake up. And lo and behold I can’t log into my account. I’ve tried recovering a few times but have had no luck.

1. I’m not ordering and paying for quests just to change my password before it’s done.
2. The jagex account not found came at 8:34am. Morita messaged me the worker can not log in at 8:10am. Given the delayed email from suspicious login it’s hard to tell exactly what time the account was stolen.
3. Morita told me before I received the email. What a coincidence

Okay I feel like I typed too much now. But it’s been a week now and I feel like they should be held responsible. Thanks

Morita did send back the payment for quests obviously not getting done. I didn’t stress the account being stolen at the time because I haven’t played in a long time. I have a lot of high level botted accounts like that so basically it is what it is.


I know im not getting that account back but I just want someone held accountable. He didn’t want to admit to any wrong doing so I just said I’ll let the jury decide. And I’m not sure exactly what happened and why I did not get emails to the registered email. But my guess would be they found a way to attach it to a jagex account to bypass that stuff or something. Idk how it works.

 

When do I hear back on this??
