WU Help !

Okay so I want to create a WU account but I really don't know much about it can someone tell me the following? Thanks.

- Can people chargeback?
- Am I able to cash it out, I'm in Canada.
- If I can cash it out, what age do I have to be?
- Can the account get limited like PayPal?

 

All I know is that there are no chargebacks, you're acc can't be limited, you can receive in Canada I'm pretty sure, and you can receive at any age

 

- No, there is no way to make a chargeback with WU.
- You can cash it out in virtually any globally recognized country. See www.westernunion.com for more. The only thing you can do with a WU payment is "cash it out" - the money you receive does not "sit" in a balance on your online banking account (Paypal) - you just have to go with your ID & 10-digit MTSCN to a WU agent (track a location near you at www.westernunion.com) and ask them to cash it out.
- You have to be 18 to collect the money.
- If you are only receiving via WU and not sending, you do not need a WU account at all (as explained above). So, no, there is no way you can get limited.

Overall, this is one of the best payment methods out there, from what I have seen so far. The only downside is that it costs roughly $20 for a normal-sized transaction online ($14 if you go to the agent and send manually).

 

In some countries you can cashout by being atleast 16.

You do not neet to have the account, unless you want to pay via Credit Card. You can just go to Bank, Post Office, Shop and send the money.

When you send/receive the money you need to provide the MTCN code (it is always provided to seller) and your Photo ID, Driver's Licence.

And no, there are no account limitations. The account is used to send the money only.
