Change the $/M for Donations

Currently the $/M for donations is $.35/M Which i and i think others believe to be ridiculous.

I dont know the reason why the $/M is what it is, if there is a specific reason please inform me. But i would like to see this changed to a fair amount maybe $.50/M atleast! I PM'd Fire last week and asked how much it would cost to donate $25, through RSGP. He replied saying 71m. I said ok let me go buy 71m...when i went to buy NO ONE IN THERE RIGHT MIND would sell me 71m for $25...So i ended up paying .50/M and bought it for $35.

So do you guys think its fair for me to spend $35 just to gain a $25+ donation? I mean donating to sythe is the same no matter what, why not make it fair so more people would want to donate?

It would be much easier through paypal, but we all know why we cant donate through that anymore, thanks to stupid scammers who chargeback.

Please lmk if you support/dont support and your thoughts...i would really like this looked at b4 i donate 71m for $25 when i can get more out of it.

 

Paypal isn't used because its unreliable overall, not just because of chargebacks.

OT: I do support this, the rates are ridiculous, I mean if FireZ is selling it he could have no problem selling it for .7/m or something, so selling it shouldn't be an issue. I think people would be willing to donate more, and more often, if it was closer to .5/m.

 

No. That's the price of mills that fireZ sells for without waiting and going through a hassle by doing YOU a favor.
If you don't like the prices, sell your mills and buy a donor rank. Youre lucky he's even doing Rsgp donations.

 

Exactly, and Sythe obviously cares about its members, so why make its members lose money by making the $/M horrible? I truly believe everyone would like to see this changed, and i believe more people will definately donate if this is close to .50/M...And i dont think fire sells it, i think it goes to "Sythe" and somebody else.

 

For it to be worth FireZ's time the rate can't be much higher than what he could just buy the mils for. If you want to get $25 donation credit for $25 then mail $25 to Matthew.

 

It only lets you donate through RSGP, mail is PlzNate and i think hes gone for now. + Fire can EASILY sell the mils for .55/M or even .50/M WITH NO HASSLE WHAT SO EVER! Idk if youve looked at the gold exchange section but everyone does .56/M + only the ppl who sell small amounts do .50/M everyone else its .60 - .70/M.....50/M would sell in less than 10min.

Why would FireZ accept mils at .5 when he can easily find people to sell him mils much cheaper. All gp donations are is selling your gold to FireZ at whatever the rate is, which he then donates on your behalf.

 

But how? mills sell for .55/M + unless you buy bulk then its .50/M LOWEST

This is a ridiculous suggestion, if you don't like his donation prices, just sell your gold and have them donate under your name.

Ok, u dont have to criticize it. i know alot of members had this in mind. I was hoping to clarify it or change it. But i still believe it could be changed.

 

He could easily buy in bulk much lower than .50/m. He would also normally never be buying mils not in bulk; you can't expect to get a higher than bulk rate when he's really doing you the favor of buying a small amount, and sending the money to Matthew.

Ok, Dont get me wrong i understand all of your feedback, I do. Im just shooting my thoughts out, cuz i do wanna make this site better. So Fire is doing us a favor by buying are mils in a extremely low price and sending it to Matthew for us, in return for a rank. So he buys at .35/M and sells for .35/M right? So either way we lose $10 extra for a rank. I just want to know why he cant buy for .50/M and sell for the same exact price no problem. Yes, he could buy mills cheaper, but were the ones buying/donating here.

No, he sells around .50 I believe. If he bought and sold at the same rate he'd basically just be selling your gp for you and get nothing in return. GP donations are intended for those who want to donate and aren't able to with cash directly. If you're able to sell your mils for higher and donate directly then by all means do so. Running gp donations is a lot of work for FireZ, it's unfair to ask him to take your mils at .5 and sell them for .5 at no reward to himself, when he could instead use that time to buy mils at .35 and sell them at .5 He can't sell at .7 because for gp donations to function smoothly he needs to be able to sell them quickly.

 

I support this suggestion, you can easily get $0.50 per mil if not more. Donating to Sythe now is too much messing around, this is the reason why I haven't donated more.

 

ok i see what you mean. so the $10 goes to Fire [FireZ was his old name!! lmfao] for his services. I understand. Thank you for clarifying that. I would love to do a money mail order to save money but its too much of a hassle and has its risks. damnit...

 

If you don't like the prices, then don't donate using that method. You can mail cash to Matthew.
