Vote in poll and add reason in post :D

iPhone 5 will come out in Sept-Oct. and iOS 5 looks very promising.

The Android because I hate Apple products, but I don't really need a smart phone and I would break it if I got one.

    The New galaxy suuuuuck!

No joke 4 of my friends have had to send theirs back to shop several times.
They're brilliant, but it's a hassle having to send them to the shop every few days.

My opinion on iPhones are better, not only do I have one and it has been flawless, I haven't heard any complaints from my friends either.
    So I say IPhone >

I would choose Android over Apple anyday, Apple is way overpriced.

Droid X2, but since that wasn't an option, I voted for the iPhone.

Basically, unless the iPhone 5 comes with a dual core proc, 4g, AND a good battery, it won't be much different than any other phone on the market.

It depends on what the iPhone 5 looks like, but since I already have the iPhone 4, I'll probably take my reduced upgrade when the new model comes out.

Galaxy, it's android, which is a much better OS then Apple's and it'll own it performance wise.

    + Apple overprices their items.

I'm so over breaking my iPhone screen, I have smashed my iPhone 4 screen 3 times in 7 months.. I have a galaxy II sitting at home but can't use it because I have a mini sim for the iPhone.

I just download ebooks on the galaxy and read them at work.

iPhone5. The reputation would be the main thing + even IF the Galaxy is better, the iPhone5 is still an incredibly good phone, and I know exactly how to use it.

iPhones are too mainstream, I'll never buy one, I prefer my HTC phones or Samsungs, plus the Droid OS.

My phone has a dual core processor overclocked to 1.7ghz ;D

What I dislike of the Android is the impossibility to update OS

iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S II?

I vote for the iPhone 5.

iphones runs the iOS operating system which is exclusive to apple products only, it's unique in that aspect.

A lot of people I know use the Galaxy S II.
To tell you the truth, it's not much, since it runs on Android, which is too damn common among smartphones :/

Plus, it might just be me, but the iPhone/iTouch touchscreens are a lot better.

iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S II?

I've got the Galaxy S 2 and I must say I apsolutely love it, didn't think I would because I loved my HTC's before this.

I wouldn't choose an iPhone 4 over it, and wouldn't choose an iPhone 5 over it. Its fast, it's a nice design. It's a biggish size which is what I like, it's well built and has all the features the iPhone 4 has and more (can't comment to much about the iPhone 5).

The Galaxy S 2 is ultra thin and light but doesn't miss out of the features you'd expect, although that can be negative when dropping it, as I have done and got a nice scuff on the plastic; but I'm sure the iPhone does the same..

Android gives the majority of small apps that the iPhone has for free, which saves you more money, it's not overly priced (iPhone 4 still needs a £35/Month contract to become free in the UK).

Android has more customization and freedom on the operating system also, as well as supports flash in web browsing ect.

Get the Samsung Galaxy, my parents both have one and they love it. The iPhone is just overhyped.
