FORUM MOD lashes out AGAINST jagex LOL

He's getting publicity, and I guess that's what he wanted; to get the word out. De-mod is a sacrifice he had to pay.

 

If anything him getting demodded was the dumbest thing jagex could have done to hide it. Now people want to see the vid just becauae they know jagex doesn't want them too. They have made him like a marder...

 

You never know what people do these days...

Some people are dumb enough to assume that it's something like Jagex offering real world trading.

Like T V said, de-modding was a sacrafice to get the word out. A worthy sacrafice. You realize how many views this video is getting? In the time I watched 3 minutes of the video, YouTube said "31 comments have been added since you last loaded these comments" or something like that. Modship isn't that big a deal anyway, all forum mods really get is a responsibility to tend to forums.

This video had a point. I would gladly give back free trade if it meant no bots in this situation. Hopefully there are so many bots that gold prices will decrease and it won't be worth doing anymore, but that won't happen for a long time, if ever.

 

Sad video, shows that this game will soon be dead if the bots aren't dealt with. The players voted for free trade, Can't keep everyone happy..

Mind = blown at the mining bots. Those advertising bots are beyond a joke though, surely Jagex could at least focus some attention on banning them

Those f2p mining bots are a disgrace.

 

That's just insane... Never knew there were THAT many bots at mining guild.

 

Did Jagex really remove the rants section or was it gone a long time ago? If they did, that is so fucking low.

No matter how much I love botting, this guy is right. The over abundance of bots has killed the economy and Jagex seems pretty reluctant to do anything about it.

 

Yeah a few months ago they removed it. But it kind of worked out better, cause we rant all over the place now. And compliments are mostly (attempted) satire.

 

It must be said that that was quite a brilliantly made video.

 

Agree with vid, by demodding him jagex just shows hes telling the truth.

 

I feel sorry for this guy. After the work and honesty he's put in, he only gets punished. This is what RuneScape has become and I can't believe how much has changed since 2001.

This video is unbelievably produced. It essentially shows every flaw in Jagex's moderating. And seeing the poor guy get demoted for showing them where they've gone wrong shows that Jagex has no class and they truly could care less about the direction of this beloved game.

 

This video is actually REALLY good, but I wouldn't consider it a ''lash out'' more like the truth...but just like any reporter (for lack of a better word) that reports on a topic that the victim isn't happy about and has power...is shut up quick

 

He's not really 'lashing out,' he's just expressing his opinions. Feel bad for him losing his Mod-ship, but he feels like he did the right thing; I agree.
