Question about xlogging

Okay, so I was doing slayer, and of course, I get a green dragon task. Just my luck right? Well I brought decent gear thinking no one would be an asshole, but there were botters in every world so I was getting fed up with it. I started attacking one, but I just decided to stop and just finish the task. So of course, I'm now skull'd. Luckily, no one there was my level, and the ones that were around my level, were bots of course. So I literally have 9 kills left out of the 44 i got assigned, and then out of no where, I see the tele block thing flying right at me. Of course, now I'm in panic mode because I have barely any food left and I'm skull'd. Then the kid and his friend try to kill me, I have no idea why, we were at a pretty big level difference. Then the one kid who's maging, also entangles me. The melee kid tries to D claw spec me and fails horribly, which I had a good laugh about. But now, I've run out of food and he's constantly entangling me. I panicked and just X-logged. I know X-logging is kinda stupid, but I honestly didn't want to die when I was so close to finishing my task, and I didn't want to lose my items and charms. It's not that I couldn't re-buy those items, which I could easily do, I'm just a cheap bastard and hate spending money.

Well to get to the point, I'm wondering if I could possibly be banned for this? I was just really scared of losing my items and just wanted to finish my damn task. Do you think I should worry about this? It's just bugging me and I'd like some feedback from you guys. Thanks.

 

I dont think you logout right away even closing??? Like they could still kill you if they were very quick about it

No, you're lucky if you found your account alive. Simply closing out your browser doesn't do anything anymore if you're in combat. You'll stay in combat until you are able to logout. I think you just got lucky that the people trying to kill you completely suck. However, if you found a glitch to X-Log, and abused it, then yeah it would be a bannable offence.

 

Well I guess these guys had huge trouble killing me. I didn't glitch anything, I just x'ed out of the game. I was confused at first when I saw myself still alive because I heard that when you X-log, you still stay logged in for like 90 seconds. Thanks for the help man.

 

It takes about 10 seconds i think pressing the x on your browser, unless they changed it but i dont think they did- you can do this in staking aswell but it makes you loose so yea.

 

X logging is a glitch in a way. Normally, you have to wait 10 seconds AFTER combat before logging, but when x logging, you need to wait to wait only 10 seconds, even in combat. But no, you absolutely will not be banned. How do then know your computer didn't just shutdown, or you disconnected?

 

If you somehow did actauly "Xlog" like people did in the duel arena then yeah thats banable but it seems you didn't even know how to perform that glitch it just happend. It's odd that you didn't die but I doubt you will get banned if you had no intention of it actualy working.

 

I don't think you'll get banned if it's unintentional. Pretty sure people do it all the time for the wrong reasons, but you did it out of panic I guess.

 

You can't be banned for it, you did nothing wrong.
