6hr log?

Hey guys, so i was just talking with a couple friends today..and they informed me that there is now a 6hr limit on runescape where in 6 hours of gameplay it will automatically log you out? Now for some people this may not be a big deal. But for others who bot..this might get under your skin a little bit. So basically what im asking is..How do all of you feel about this if in fact it is true.

 

I didn't know this, but if there is, the bot has it covered, it just logs back in and starts up again doesn't really bother me, the bot just logs back in

 

This has been in effect for a long time. Bots have this covered of course, you usually wouldn't see this happen.

 

Yeah but for me at least..I dont know about everyone else but for me and my friends we haven't had the best of luck with putting our passes and bank pins into the bots. So therefore it couldnt log us back in. But yeah for other people i understand what your saying

Has it really? Because i havent had trouble with my bot stopping after 6 hrs. Does it go to the login? Or to the "click here to play" page?

 

What bot are you using? i use rsbuddy.

 

Yeah, i use rsbuddy now. I made the change from powerbot to rsbuddy about a month ago. They seem to have better scripts

 

Not sure, but either way the bot is capable of handling it. When this first happened I had my bots in the lobby for me, the problem was soon taken care of though.

Nope. And i don't plan to either. I would rather not enter my info into the bot. Like i said before, I havent had to great of experiences with doing that.

 

Isnt that why you enter you account details? so once you are logged out, the bot can just log you back in?

 

Well that's why it won't log you in, you have to put in the user/email and it's pw in the bot for it to log you in:3

 

Yeah. I mean i guess i havent ever tried it with rsbuddy. But i know powerbot screwed me a couple times..

 

Powerbot is fail, i've heard of a mass hacking of accounts through that, i just deleted it and got rsbuddy:] trust me it's not like pb:l

 

Well yeah, I understand that but what im saying is. Its been running all night fine for the last couple nights and i dont put any info in. So thats why i figured it was something that just took place not long ago

 

He's concerned about his accounts safety.

@Polka I know you've probably had bad expierences with powerbot, but rsbuddy/nexus isn't anything like that. I've used them in the past, and I've never been hacked before. It's safe to put your account information in them, it'll just be an unecessary hassle to manually enter your details every time.

 

What are you botting? maybe you're lagging, because i'd turn artealch on at the sw worlds bank and i'd log out due to lagging:l

 

All the 6 hour log out does is log you to the lobby screen, the bot won't need your password to log back in. The bot knows when its been logged out and will log you back in my clicking the play now button.

Its been a rule for a long time now.

 

If you have a good botting system it will log u back in. It doesn't really bother me.

It's true, and the game always tends to log you out after six hours regardless of what you do. However, you're only kicked to the lobby, and every bot I've ever used has auto-logged back in.
