So my iPod is now much cleaner.. And probably dead.

I just put my 6th gen iPod nano into the wash while I was half asleep. Door is locked, so I guess ima have to wait until it gets out.

Any of you have any ideas on how to revive it if it's even possible?

And please don't tell me to google it, I did, but all the answers I found were for different iPods etc.

 

Let it dry for at least 24 hours before attempting to power it on. Place it on somewhat absorbent material, and just let it sit for a 24 - 48 hours, then give it a shot.

 

Put it in a bowl of rice. Seriously, it absorbs all of the water. Works for cellphones, should work with iPods.

Rice it for about 10 hours. Then vacuum it out.

 

Buy a box for it and go to an electronics store and be like, "What the fuck, you sold me a soiled iPod.." Don't stop yelling until you get a new one.
Or put it in a bowl of rice overnight. That works too.

 

DO NOT TRY TURNING IT ON, that'll fuck it up for good
