Why do you play RuneScape?

I don't play anymore, but pretty much the only reasons I played when I did were to merchant, and to beat my friends total level.

What keeps you going, why do you play? Or for those who have quit, what kept you playing all those years?

 

I don't anymore eather but it just used to be fun, then it got boring but I would keep grinding skills to try and beat my friends. It's a source of income now when I get on every so often.

 

Money, skills, rare names to show off.

 

Use to be fun competing with my brothers with total levels and cash stacks but that was all legit before I knew about bots. Now I quit and it's all about the GP.

 

I'm playing Runescape only just when i'm bored, that's all what i've to say about it.

I play becasuse its a past time.. its just relaxing to do when you have time

 

I really only bot and pk.
Pking is fun and is the only thing I do legit other than questing.

 

Don't play any more. I used to play for pking and mini games but they have gotten boring since every one teles and with rushing.

 

pking, staking, and making irl money lol.

 

Irl money, pking and talking to my good friends. I barely play anymore (besides botting for irl cash) cause all of my true friends quit ages ago. RS is botters and 12 year old kids nowadays.

 

I play to make money, gold is free to make, and gives you real money. win win.

 

I only play because there are bots, I also want to max my total level.

 

I used to merchant way back in 2007. Now I just play to PK / make money / quest.

 

At first it was just an escape from reality, playing Runescape eased my stress and calmed me when I had a lot on my mind.

When I was about to quit I was introduced to a clan, and I ended up staying around a lot longer then I had expected due to the friendships I created.

I tried to make a comeback when free trade was introduced but the game just doesn't appeal to me anymore, the blackmarket and blackmarket community is the only reason why I even associate myself with the game anymore

 

i bot on it, but don't play it that much anymore i just like talking to friends

 

its all about the rsgp for irl money

Well I dont play anymore and might be official. Only check all my rares from time to time and keep track of my rare names and rare accounts.

 

I only get on to PK.

 

I get on to go pking with my clan and what not, although I bot myself, the game really is being ruined by botting. Runescape back in 2006 & 2007 were the best
