I understand the concern regarding the DNT. I want to clarify that I did not take any action outside the agreed trade rules or MM. Any account recovery or action that occurred was not intended to bypass rules or cheat anyone — I’ve acted within what was possible on my end.

I’m fully willing to cooperate and provide any details needed to resolve this and clear up any misunderstanding.

From what I recall, the account has been on the Jagex Launcher with the email [email protected] since 2023, making the recent recovery quite unusual.

After some thought, I no longer feel safe continuing with this account, as any time invested could be wasted if the original owner recovers it. If recovery is possible for them, they’re welcome to keep it—I’d kindly appreciate a refund if that’s an option. Thank you for your understanding.

It is launcher account. I think Todd Baldwin or whoever recovered account forgot Jagex does not process launcher recoveries unless hijacked and upgraded from Legacy. Simple ChatGPT question answers this that Jagex locks these account and sometimes ban it. I see it has happened on many reports on Sythe before.

 

After sending him a DM as below today, [redacted] 'deleted' his Driver's License from our DMs. This confirms the ID is legitimate and not a fake one he shared to make me trust him.

I've a recording of our entire chat and sent him a copy of his own ID which he couldn't delete so his actions didn't do much. He has been online on both Discord and Sythe since this so I am not sure how honest he was when he said he'd co-operate.

I will use any means necessary to make this right whether it's getting my money back, getting you banned or remedies through IRL actions with your ID / IP address in Canada. I've a copy of everything we've discussed. If you do not resolve this by 28 December 2025 Noon Canadian Time, I take it as you've scammed."

 

I want to be clear and cooperative here. I did not recover this account, initiate any recovery, or request Jagex support at any time after the sale.

At the time of the trade, I believed the account was safe to sell and did not intentionally misrepresent anything. I did not advise recovery was impossible, nor did I make any guarantees regarding long-term security beyond completing the MM trade itself.

I understand the buyer’s concern, but I have no access to the account and no ability to recover it even if I wanted to. I’m willing to provide full chat logs, MM details, and anything else required to assist staff in determining what actually occurred.

Please let me know exactly what information you need from me and I’ll provide it promptly.

 

Due to the buyer making IRL threats toward me, I will not be engaging with them privately any further. I’m fully willing to cooperate with staff and provide any information requested through official channels only.

Please let me know when the refund will be processed. For simplicity, a refund in kind (GP) is fine with me.

As there has been limited response since December 8, I’ll leave the logistics of the transfer to you. We can keep any necessary communication strictly to the location, world, and RSN required for the GP transfer. No communication is needed thereafter.

Once this is resolved, I’ll confirm here and deem it closed with no further action on my end.

Thank you for your help. It's difficult for people to act honestly online. A reputable Sythe member shared that when they asked ComplainLess if he was the original owner for the same account, he replied, "I created it.". Can get their permission to share the screenshot they shared if needed.

He was online for a while since your message yesterday and chose to do nothing to make it right.
