Guide to transferring usernames.

This is awesome, I always wanted to do this! Does anything happen when changing to the offensive name besides a name reset? I don't want to risk either of my accounts.

You're all welcome. Apparently, people have been sniping names recently as brought up by Sythe user 'T V'.

When transferring names using this method, please note somebody may be out to snipe you and there is a slight risk of losing the name if you aren't quick.

If your name has to be reset, do JaGex log you out of RuneScape? or do you stay with your name till you log out? Please reply to this vire pm ?

No idea, sorry. You need to be logged out to change your name anyway.

I tried this last week and Jagex just reset my name to my previous one :/

 

Scott (My friend who attempted this) did it without any problems whatsoever, and all was fine.
