    Need tips for better posture

I've noticed I have really shitty posture recently, along with a tendency to slouch a bit when I walk. Can anyone offer some advice on how to improve this?

These are some things I guess could affect it:

-I usually sleep lying on my back or on my side.

-For exercise, I do sit ups, push ups, biking (30-60 mins), skateboarding.

-I'm on the computer for about 4 hours a day (definitely going to start cutting back on this)

If anyone else knows anything that may affect my posture, please let me know.

    Thanks

I use to have the same problem, If you're sitting at a desk with a chair for your computer. Put your chair right up to your desk when you're sitting on it.
Pretty much forces you to sit up straight.

Also sleeping on your back is the best way to keep your back straight.

I understand it's quite uncomfortable but it's a must to fix your posture.

When I went through physiotherapy for my back they told me to put my shoulder and arm up against the frame of a doorway and to push for about 2-3mins. Seems to have helped a lot maybe it's worth a shot :p.

The key to fixing your posture is to sleep on your back and stretch daily. Try stretching your back from side to side and up and down for around 10-20 seconds each.

Besides that, you should be walking with a straight posture - if you catch yourself slouching, just keep thinking about straight posture while walking to your destination. When sitting, try to make sure you sit in a comfortable chair in the upright pose.

    Good luck!

You could try yoga. I have an illness and my spine is starting to curve and the doctors have recommended I do yoga. It helps a lot and it relaxes you.

    - Do pull ups everyday.

    - Sit normally when using a computer and try to use it not so often.

    - Sometimes lay down on thr ground on your back. And simply lay and relax, this will help for your back.

Do what you do already do and add this, and your problem is resolved.
