Overload Help

Hi guys, I needed some advice with making overloads. I can only use terror bird pouches, atm. Should I just make the overloads using a terrorbird or should I spend the time to get enough crimson charms for 61-67 summoning for a tortoise? Would it be worth it to spend all that time at water fiends getting charms for 67 summoning. Also, how much time would it take to make 2k overloads with a tortoise over a terrorbird; would there be a significant difference? Furthermore, would it even be worth it to use a terrorbird or tortoise to assist me, or would I be better off making them without a familiar? I would appreciate in-depth answers and help. Thank you.

 

I don't really see how it would be faster to take overload supplies from your bank, give them to your familiar, take out more supplies, make pots, take supplies from your familiar, bank and repeat.
My advice, just make overloads without a beast of burden, just have the pots banked, so you can witdraw them quick.

 

The way a familiar helps out is that you fill it with torstols, and then in your invo you have 5 of each extreme and 3 torstols. Once you make 5 overloads, you bank and get more supplies. You use your beast of burden to refill the torstols in your inventory.

 

Never tought of that, but I will still be making my overloads without a beast of burden, got all my supplies in a small square, so it takes 4 seconds for me to bank

 

And you have to click each potion and torstol 4 times....

id say scratch the beast of burden and just use your invo

 

You can just set up mousekeys to hit the mouse two times when you click.

Doing it with anything less than a yak is going to get about the same exp/hour as doing it 4 at a time.

 

How would i set up these mouse keys?

 

To be perfectly honest, making overloads is quick as it is.
It's not worth it to get the charms JUST so you can make overloads a very small amount faster.

I went 92-99 with overloads / extremes in just under a day.

 

How long would 97-99 take with overloads, and no familiar? (About 2.3k overloads)

 

Tortoise isn't worth getting just to make overloads.

Just use a bird.

 

Took me 4 or 5 hours (I'm also a pretty fast skiller)

So the average person maybe an hour longer.

 

I think that since I don't have a yak, it would be better to have no familiar. Since, I have to restock them so often, and that takes up more time.
