    PlayerAuctions advertised coupon code invalid.

They Player Auctions $5 coupon code as seen as an advertisement next to Gold4RS's advertisements on any sythe screen is "Sythehighfive"...This coupon code is now invalid due to the coupon being expired. It is very mis leading and as of this moment is false advertisement. Please remove this advertisement from your web page, ask PlayerAuctions to make another coupon code for a different purpose to be advertised on sythe, not a coupon that is expired. Thanks.

They're aware. And as long as PlayerAuctions pays for the advertisement to be there, then it's up to them to put whatever they want, even if it is an expired coupon lol

Yes, but isn't it considered false advertisement? As the coupon is expired and there still advertising it. I know there paying you for it and all so you don't want to make them stop, so I can see both sides of this situation.

Yes it's a false advertisement, but there paying you and that helps keep up the site.

It's expired, we all know it's expired therefore it's causing no harm. If you don't know for sure then add the coupon code to your transaction and it should tell you it's no longer running. Also like the poster said above, they're aware and as long as they pay for their advertisement who cares? Email PA with your concern and maybe they'll address your concern and tell you when they'll consider updating it.

Unlike Gold4RS, PA is a big company that deals with a huge number of trades a day and they're dealing with a lot more games then just Runescape, they're probably busy and will update it when they get the time.

Good point, but it's still false advertisement and would get customers excited over the $5 off, then only to be denied, giving the website bad thoughts. Even though I know that PlayerAuctions is one of the most legitiment virtual goods selling/buying websites on the internet.

I see where you are coming from, but I guess PlayerAuctions don't want to update it although they are aware of the problem.
As we know PlayerAuctions take 9.99%+$1.99 commission per order, they will actually lose money if the buyer used the $5 off coupon code in an order under $30.

PlayerAuctions is not the paradise everyone on Sythe makes it out to be. They claim they have lowered Currency fees on their front page right now.

They claim to be reducing fees by charging the Buyer the gateway fee. This means that buyers pay an extra 2.5-3% per order. This is only actual direct cost PlayerAuctions receives when processing orders... and now they are forwarding that to the buyer.

So with the buyer now incurring the cost for the gateway fee, you'd expect the Seller fee to decrease from 9.9% + $1.99 to maybe... 7.5%? No. The ONLY fee reduction is the fixed fee drops from $1.99 to $1.00. This means that basically any order above $30.00 costs MORE than it did before. Pretty stupid that they are boasting price reductions, when really it's a price increase.
