Death, what do you think happens?

I believe in Heaven / Hell.
I also somewhat believe that your spirit will be free to roam over Earth till the day of judgement however

 

Nothing happens. At all. You won't exist. Your brain isn't there to perceive anything. Death is a complete lack of perception.

 

Obviously I idealize that there will be an afterlife/reincarnation.

I am 90% sure this will not happen, and it sucks. I can't change it, no-one can. All I hope for is scientific advancements into this subject before I die.

 

i believe there is a god, enough evidence has been proven in the Kuran, Profit Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) is the biggest influencer of man kind, and this is proof.

 

That has to be the most idiotic thing i have ever heard imo, a mouse or a rat? There is things out there beyong our imagination, there is anonymous fish in sea levels where OUR camera's cannot yet reach, there are many univereses we STILL haven't discovered, and you come up with a fuckin mouse or ant! Be more realistic MATE.

 

I believe that your soul will kind of recycle. You will reborn into something new, that may be a worm, or even an alien in outer space.

Opinion threads are now banned, and this threads name is "Death, what do you think happens?" and the first post clearly does NOT have an intelligent argument. Nobody can know what happens after death, therefore, this is an opinion thread.

For the people who believe we come back as other people/animals: We probably know what happens after death because someone who has died has come back and said, but obvioulsy are not listened to shuned and ridiculed.

 

Man like, I wonder it too. When your dead you probably wont see anything. Or everythings just blank.. but if you know its blank you must be someone. You cant just disappear lol i dont understand.

 

I'm agnostic, we don't have science that supports either side 100%, though, I know where the evidence points, sadly. I would love for there to be an afterlife, whether it's spiritual, or reincarnation, etc. My favorite option is this, we rely on science and live as long as possible, and if science advances, live forever. That way I'd never have to worry about what happens after life.

 

Well, death is when your whole body ceases to function. So, presumably if your brain does not function, then you have no consciousness, and if you have no consciousness, then you cannot feel or perceive and sensation from stimuli.

If you want to add a soul into the equation, then, we would need to find proof of the existence of a soul.

Trying to imagine death is like trying to imagine what your life was like the billions of years before your birth: you can't.

It first depends if you believe in religious teachings or not. I do, I believe that there is Hell and Heaven in which we will all be judge each to go where.


This is my opinion. No one knows for sure and it's all about beliefs and opinions, please do not flame or try convincing me your beliefs.

 

Kind of like when you turn off your computer. First, It runs through it's recent history to make sure it doesn't want to hang and screw you over, then it just does a few little things and turns off all systems. Then you exist the way an old computer exists. It just lies there, unable to do anything until it's turned on... no, not like that XD

Either that, or a skeleton comes with a combination harvester and collects your soul, then sends you to wherever you believed you would go to reduce complications.

 

Hard to have any kind of debate on this subject as there is no proof and no way of telling what happens so it is pretty much everyone post your opinions.

I believe in God, so I believe in Heaven of course.

If I am wrong, then I get the same exact thing as the people who thought their whole life that you just stop existing and you are nothingness. However, if people who thought that way are wrong, and God ends up being true, they have some questions to answer for, heh.

 

Don't mean effence in any way but i think, if God did create us he wouldn't wan't us " worshipping " him and not so much wasting the time but putting the effort in to do so. He would wan't us to live our lives to the fullest and not waste a minute of it.

 

What if there was a afterlife which was alot better then "this" life. Surely you'd have to do "something" (ie. proving yourself, sacrificing etc.) in order to get there? I'd see your point on the presumption there was no afterlife.

 

Who said the afterlife was fun. It probably has a pretty nasty overpopulation problem, a language problem, and several other problems that cause people to start killing each other. The after-afterlife sounds like a decent place, though.
