    I know talking to someone on MSN there are ways to get there IP but you cant keylog someone with just an I.P can you? Like it's safe to talk to people from sythe over MSN and also getting on there account for a service?

    nah you can't you have to click a file the person has sent you.

    They can get your IP, which can allow them to know your location.
    (Even though it's always 10-100 miles off)

    It also allows them to ddos you, which makes you lose connection from the internet.

    They can not keylog you or steal any of your passwords this way. So you're safe for the most part.

    However they'd only be able to DDoS you I believe a max times of 5 in a period of 24 hours. Each time for a minute or so.
